Sylph – Nowon Chapter(蘆原篇)
“Sylph” refers to the mysterious beings from Western legend. The name “Sylph” comes from the works of the medieval European alchemist Paracelsus, representing the invisible essence as air. This work used a columnar array arranged in an arc just like a fortress that allows the wind to flow freely, imagining wind elfs exchange messages from the sea and mountains. Scaly barriers of the work are like a message converter, translating the mountains and sea, and the whispers between you and me regarding this land. At night, a shimmering, flowing light transforms the work into a band-like screen solidified in space. The dialogue emerges through the opening and closing created by the wind, while shadows invite additional imagination, allowing audiences to interpret their own conversations with the artwork.
