海洋是生命的起源，隨著潮汐與氣候的變化轉動整個生態圈，在幾百幾千年下積累造就的自然地景帶來豐沛的資源；先民們運用潮汐變化與團結的凝聚力開墾這一帶海與地。海潮的流動循環著生態環境，時代的發展循環著人文地景。

作品「湧」運用竹圈起一圈一圈金黃色的海，錯落上下的湧動如同不斷波動的黃金浪潮，串連著生命跟生命，在不斷前進的時間軸裡持續帶給這片土地能量。

The ocean is the birthplace of life. As the tides and climate change, the entire ecosystem shifts. Over thousands of years, this process has created abundant resources. The ancestors used tidal changes and a harmony with nature to prosper in this area, both on land and in the sea.

The lantern “Surge” uses bamboo to create circles of the golden sea. The surges up and down are like ever-fluctuating golden waves, connecting the forces of life and bringing energy to this land as it proceeds to the future.
