鹿港是台灣早期重要的商港之一，譽有「一府二鹿三艋舺」之稱，商港船舶貿易為鹿港帶來了文化與技藝的交織，經過時空的推進，人們在此深根、交流與傳承，成就了如今百年鹿港的樣貌。

作品「千帆鹿港」以船帆作為載體，想像鹿港八景中的《鹿港飛帆》描述的畫面，以和緩的弧線將粼粼的波光與海揉合在一起，隨著光與帆在新舊時代交織的這塊土地蔓延與流動，帶著新的際遇邁向未來。

Lukang was one of Taiwan’s most important early commercial ports, celebrated in the saying “First Tainan, second Lukang, third Bangka.” The bustling maritime trade brought with it a rich fusion of cultures and craftsmanship. As time went on, people settled and thrived here, fostering exchange and inheritance that shaped the century-old Lukang we see today.

The artwork A Thousand Sails over Lukang takes the image of sails as its vessel, reimagining the scene depicted in “Flying Sails of Lukang,” one of Lukang’s Eight Views. Gentle arcs merge the glimmering waves and the sea, as light and sails flow across this land where the old and the new intertwine—carrying new encounters as they voyage toward the future.

朝潮夕汐盼瀛東，盼得潮來海舶通。
片片蒲帆齊出港，依依鶩影欲凌空。
桃花艷捲三春浪，竹箭輕隨一夜風。
更有閒情堪入畫，斜陽倒照海門紅。
