流變的棲居 Flowing Inhabitation

作品在視覺上呈現一種「輕盈的重量」,半懸空的構築狀態打破了地景恆定不動的既定印象。竹片層層堆疊而成的屋頂,與下方支撐起結構的各異足跡,共同指向一個關於地質演進的動態過程:山脈與河流如同在漫長時間中緩慢爬行、重塑的生命體。

作品將縱谷、平原與生物群落視為一個整體的流動系統。風鈴在結構間捕捉不可見的氣流,隱喻著流域對地表的細微切割與搬運;貓、狗等動物的介入,則賦予了地貌演變一種具備溫度的日常感。這種空間狀態描述的是一種「短暫的停頓」,在自然的無窮變動中,地形與生命之間達成了一種暫時性的和諧。

地表的一切都在溫柔地位移,持續擴張、收縮與遷移,在自然演化的過程中,展現出那份屬於大地的「永恆的改變」。

The work evokes a sense of “Lightness within Weight.” Its semi-suspended structure challenges the conventional perception of the landscape as fixed and immutable. The roof, composed of layered bamboo slats, together with the varied animal legs supporting the structure beneath, suggests an ongoing process of geological transformation. Mountains and rivers are imagined as living organisms, slowly crawling, shifting, and reshaping themselves across immense spans of time.

The installation understands valleys, plains, and ecological communities as a single interconnected system in constant flow. Wind chimes suspended within the structure capture invisible air currents, metaphorically expressing the subtle incision, erosion, and transportation of the land by river systems. The presence of animals—such as cats and dogs—introduces a sense of warmth and everyday familiarity, grounding the monumental evolution of the landscape in ordinary life. This spatial condition embodies a “fleeting pause,” a moment in which landforms and living beings briefly arrive at a state of equilibrium amid nature’s endless transformation.

Everything upon the Earth’s surface is in a state of gentle displacement—expanding, contracting, and migrating over time. Through these continuous processes of natural evolution, the work reveals the perpetual transformation that defines the land itself.
